2014

January
• Wison Offshore & Marine was awarded a binding agreement with Vessel Gasification Solutions (VGS) of New Jersey, USA, to supply the industry’s first barge-based floating LNG regasification unit (FRU) to be installed offshore the Indian coast.

June
• Wison Engineering successfully engineered the digital delivery of the Xinjiang DushanziTianli Industries’ 40,000 tons per year styrene plant. It was the company’s pilot digital factory(DF).

July
• Wison Engineering was awarded the “2013 Advancement Award for the Project Management of Chinese Companies in Saudi Arabia”.

• Wison Offshore & Marine signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with WorleyParsons under which the companies agreed to jointly pursue the execution and delivery of ship-shaped floating LNG (FLNG), FPSO and other similar offshore oil and gas projects.

• Wison officially commenced the Puerto La Cruz Refinery Deep Conversion Site Preparation Project in Venezuela.

 

October
• Xinjiang Dushanzi Tianli Industries’ 40,000 tons per year styrene plant, (designed by Wison Engineering) began production of premium grade styrene, indicating Wison’s first digital designs successfully passed their feeding and start-up tests.

November

• Wison Engineering debuted its commercialized proprietary butadiene technology and catalyst.

• Wison Engineering won the $500 million Puerto La Cruz Refinery Project in Venezuela.

•  Wison Engineering delivered a coal-to-methanol facility to Guotai Chemicals.

•  World’s First FLNG Facility undertaken by Wison Offshore & Marine was undocked.

December
•  Wison Engineering delivered the PE plant to Shanxi Pucheng Chemicals.

•  Wison secured a contract of a second floating LNG liquefaction unit from EXMAR.
