Ethiopian Ambassador Consul General Mulie Visited Wison Center

In the morning of April 12, the Ethiopian Ambassador Consul General in Shanghai, Mr. Mulie Tarekegn Edlie, and Deputy Consul General, Mr. Adamu Assefa Mukura, paid their first visit to the Shanghai headquarters of Wison Engineering. Mr. Dong Hua, Executive Director & Senior Vice President of Wison Engineering, and Mr. Zheng Shifeng, Senior Vice President, gave a hearty welcome.

 

During the meeting, International Business Department of Wison Engineering introduced the development history and corporate culture of Wison Group and Wison Engineering, especially Wison's successful overseas projects. Ambassador Mulie also gave a briefing about Ethiopia's economic and social environment, industry circumstances, investment policy and infrastructure and stressed on the Ethiopian government's support on the engineering industry.

 

Ethiopia is located in the center of the Horn of Africa. As a great power in East Africa, Ethiopia has over three thousand years of civilization. Its capital, Addis Ababa, where the headquarters of the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa and the African Union is located, is known as the political capital of Africa. The Ambassador welcomed Wison Engineering to introduce more advanced technology and project management expertise into Ethiopia. Mr. Dong Hua expressed his gratitude to the Ambassador for the recognition and hoped that two sides could create more cooperation opportunities for business development in the Africa.

 

Adhering to internationalization strategy, Wison Engineering has been actively seeking business opportunities in the global energy industry. Wison has established a project management system and execution team in line with the international standard and set up a global procurement and construction resources network. Currently, several major EPC projects are progressing smoothly in Asia Pacific, Middle East, Russia, South America and etc.
