BASF-YPC H110 liquid furnace retrofit EPC general contract project was completed recently with its unit under stable operation since July 20 whose performance indicators meet design requirements. In this project, Wison is responsible for the technological retrofit design and served as EPC general contractor. This project was officially kicked off on December 2, 2009 and the detailed design has been completed by February 8, 2010. By March 30, all purchased items has been in place and the construction began on April 22. After 35 days intense construction, all retrofit tasks had been done by May 27. When the system was fed on June 20, it was then handed over to the owner on June 22. It is both Wison's head office and its project team of BASF-YPC that offered joint efforts to this project known for its tight-scheduled, technically challenged task bounded by high HSE requirements. The success of this revamp task and its synchronous delivery was appreciated by BASF-YPC owner.
