October 20, 2011, Xinjiang-Land’s 50 kt/a Butadiene-Rubber Plant, under Wison Engineering’s overall EPC contract, successfully produced rubber products.
The design commenced in February, 2010, and the foundation for theconstruction was laid in April. During the project construction, Project Department personnel overcame the difficulties and disadvantages of resource shortage,lack of labor force and the long period of winter recess in Xinjiang,smoothly completing the set objectives on schedule after 18-month hard work. Wison also managed design, procurement and construction, which was assisted by elaborated planning, scientific management and the dedication of the management team.
On October 17th, butadiene was insertedinto the Butadiene-Rubber Plant, completing the whole process in less than 72 hours and producing qualified rubber products.
Wison Engineering’s outstanding performance enabled it to complete all set objectives of the project within 18 months. It constitutes the shortest construction period of a domestic rubber plant until now.
