SHANGHAI (March 15, 2013) — Wison Engineering Services Co. Ltd. (HKEx: 02236) ("Wison Engineering" or the "Company"), China's largest private chemical EPC contractor, announced today that Wison Engineering Ltd, an indirect non-wholly owned subsidiary of the Company, has successfully completed the delivery of six projects of the PetroChina Sichuan Integrated Refinery and Petrochemical Complex on schedule. This is Wison Engineering’s first project to execute the main units of a sizable integrated refinery and petrochemical complex. The successful delivery demonstrates the Company’s technical strengths as a general contractor for highly complicated facilities, thereby laying a solid foundation for Wison Engineering to expand into overseas and domestic petrochemical and oil refinery markets.

Throughout the three-year construction process, Wison Engineering was consistent in following the philosophy of “a common pursuit of best practices for a mutually benefited cooperation” and set the targets of “zero quality defects, zero safety accidents, and zero environmental pollution”. As a result, the company achieved an outstanding record of 29.19 million safe working hours without an accident and also established a number of key innovations and breakthroughs in the establishment of project organization and technical problem solving. By following their high standards for excellence in building the integrated aromatic facility – the main unit of the integrated refinery complex – Wison Engineering delivered outstanding performance with a 100% material procurement acceptance rate, a 100% unit-project passing rate, a 99.5% first-time welding passing rate and a total of 6.8 million safe working hours, which prove Wison Engineering’s comprehensive capabilities in building and delivering large integrated refining projects of the highest quality.
In this Integrated Refinery and Petrochemical Complex, Wison Engineering undertook the task of building a total of six main projects, including the integrated paraxylene-aromatic unit (including PSA), the integrated sulfur recovery plant, the waxoil hydrocracking plant, the Linear Low-Density Polyethylene Plant and the ethylene cracking furnace and pipe-racks, in addition to auxiliary units.
